Cancellation Policy

We have a 24 hour cancellation period at the Salon on the Square. We kindly ask you to make us aware of any appointment changes or cancellations at least 24 hours prior to your appointment time in order for us to try to re-sell the time booked. Any appointment cancelled within 24 hours of your appointment time, will be charged a 50% fee of the appointment cost for loss of time for our staff. Any missed appointments will incur a 100% charge of appointment cost.

Skin Tests

If you have not visited us before or not visited for over 6 months for hair colour we require a skin test at least 48 hours prior to your appointment. Please just pop into the salon for the skin test.

Weddings & Large Bookings

A deposit of 50% is required for group bookings, weddings and large appointment times.

Child Safety

Children are welcome under supervision of an adult. We cannot offer colour services to children under the age of 16.


Any offers or discounts can not be used in conjunction with any offers. All offers and discounts are subject to availability.

Salon on the Square Gift Vouchers

Our gift vouchers must be redeemed without exception within 6 months after the date of issue. The expiry date will be marked clearly on the voucher. The vouchers may be used against hair services or any retail products. No change will be given or refund/credit issued if the full value is not used.


We welcome quiet and well behaved dogs on leads in the downstairs salon area.

Client Satisfaction

Client satisfaction is of the upmost importance to us. If you are not satisfied with our service, please contact us within 48 hours of your appointment and we will do our best to rectify.
